Service discovery for Grafana Alloy

When monitoring large installation, monitoring of instances becomes very difficult.

Grafana Alloy has a "service discovery" component, which effectively seems to be able to locally query for example a kubernetes, gce, ovh, etc. virtualization to create configuration for Grafana Alloy. Grafan Alloy could then be running on a LXD cluster pick up the instances and provide a much more lightweight monitoring situation for large installations.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Not really - perhaps open telemetry native has something similar, but grafana alloy would possibly have a better reach
