These VMs are ubuntu 22.04 and all have dummy0 interfaces with between 2 and 1k IPv4 addresses.

There was a thought this might be the lxd-agent running within the VM. Next time this happens we intend to stop lxd-agent to help determine if it is causing the issue..

Steps to reproduce

unable to reproduce consistently. Usually happens on first boot of the VM
power off / on resolves the issue though there has been a VM that did not experience this and recently has.

Information to attach

• Any relevant kernel output (dmesg)
• Container log (lxc info NAME --show-log)
• Container configuration (lxc config show NAME --expanded)
• Main daemon log (at /var/log/lxd/lxd.log or /var/snap/lxd/common/lxd/logs/lxd.log)
• Output of the client with --debug
• Output of the daemon with --debug (or use lxc monitor while reproducing the issue)
