The latest image (2024-5.24) has R version 4.3.1 (2023-06-16) -- "Beagle Scouts" We get our R version from the image directly - https://hub.docker.com/layers/jupyter/datascience-notebook/python-3.11.6/images/sha256-9504f4f4ab7e89b49d61d7be2e9ff8c57870de2050aa4360f55b2e59193f7486 @fsalemi Is that sufficient? |
@vevetron the R version is the same as what it was before (4.1.3):
The latest version is: R version 4.4.2 (Pile of Leaves) released on 2024-10-31 |
@fsalemi Are you using the prototype image or the old default image? |
The new image prototype has the R version 4.3.1. So closing the issue. |
The installed R version on the cloud is outdated
The latest version of R in CRAN is (2024-06-14, Race for Your Life) R-4.4.1.tar.gz.
The version is already installed in JupyterLab is: R version 4.1.3 (2022-03-10)
please help in upgrading this old version to the new one
