@ronald2wing You should be able to add Kamal to your app by following their installation and configuration instructions.
I don't use Kamal for anything, so I'm not sure that my impression of it is correct, but in a quick look it seems that most of what you have to do for configuration is going to be very specific to your app and the environment that you're trying to deploy to. So I'm not sure that it makes sense to include it by default since we'd have to include a mostly blank config.
That being said, if you (or anyone) wanted to make a PR to add Kamal I'd be happy to review it.
Added kamal to my apps last year and working out of the box : it's a must !!! Currently In the process to upgrade to kamal 2. Will make a PR if successful. The main challenge is to add a proper Dockerfile, not sure why a Dockerfile was not added to the BT release along with the rails 8 upgrade ?
It would be nice to deploy the app with Kamal.
