use text labels in the navigator

Currently this library uses the navigator mainly to show the progress, and I believe it can be more useful than that: if we can write text labels for the images in the place of the green dots, the navigator will be much more informative. The user can quickly select animation frames based on the labels. I'll be very grateful if you could consider this feature request.
