当我打开扩展管理器时,请默认打开本地文件管理器,当我需要下载新插件时,再去联网搜索插件。

When I open the Extension Manager, please open by default local Extension Manager. Don't search online for new plugins until I want to.

I have a very slow internet connection and I have to wait about 1 minute. If I switch to the Installed tab while Brackets is loading available extensions, it throws an error.

Hi,

I think this is no problem existing on the brackets servers, as@nicolo-ribaudo mentioned that his Internet connection seems to be already very slow. I am also guessing that the restrictions from the chinese government are part of the problem, as you are able to "download" stuff from the extension registry. Have you tried using a european/american proxy?

Currently we don't have any plans to provide the registry in different geos. I'm sorry to hear that it takes that long to load the registry data.@nicolo-ribaudo what is your bandwidth? The registry json file is gzipped on the server and less than 100k in size.

Closing for now, since we don't have a solution in place.
