time zone in bitnami/spark #76024

thanks for your replay. I found that the problem is that the delta lake save timestamp as utc. |

What steps will reproduce the bug?
I installing bitnami/spark version 3.5.4 in dokcer and ubuntu os.
I set the
timezone
in docker-compose file azTZ:Asia/Tehran
.when in the bash of the spark container i run date command it show correct date time but when i run
cat /etc/timezone
it showEtc/UTC
.when i want show the
current_timestamp()
it show theEtc/UTC
notTZ:Asia/Tehran
What is the expected behavior?
when i want show the
current_timestamp()
i want it show the time zone ofAsia/Tehran
What do you see instead?
it show the
Etc/UTC
notTZ:Asia/Tehran

I set
"spark.sql.session.timeZone": "Asia/Tehran"
