When hovering over a word that has multiple surface forms in jmdict, 10ten displays all of them, starting with the form that the user is hovering over. But there's one exception to this: entries that have separate hiragana and katakana and surface forms (e.g. バカ売れ/ばか売れ, ガタガタ/がたがた). In this case, 10ten always shows the hiragana form first, and doesn't show the katakana form at all for kana-only entries.
I've fixed this locally by brute force, but I'd like to see if there's a more elegant approach.
A few test cases:
バカ売れ
バカ売れした
バカ売れシタ
サボった
サボッタ
ガタガタ
