I have searched the existing issues
this is a pretty obvious issue and i doubt no one else has made such an issue as well, so i suspect i have done something wrong
Affected Build(s)
2120-rc1
Description of Issue
Games do not appear in the Applications tab
Expected Behavior
Games should appear, as it does in Lime3DS
Reproduction Steps
• have Lime3ds installed with changed settings and all permissions granted
• "update" Lime3ds to Azahar
• open Azahar, see Applications tab full with games for half a second, with a reloading spinner at the top, then everything vanishes with the message (not visible but later)"No files were found or no game directory has been selected yet"
• during the whole time, a prompt is at the top of it all, dimming everything else, telling me "Select User Folder": "This step is required to allow Azahar to work. Please select a directory and then you can continue."
• Select appropriate folder
• no effect, Applications tab still empty
• Go to Options tab and attempt to modify (newly named) Applications Folder to (already) the correct path.
• no effect
• Uninstall and Reinstall Azahar freshly, grant all permissions and navigate to the correct directory
• no effect
• Uninstall Azahar and install Lime3DS
• setup with all permissions with correct directiories yada yada
• Game titles magically reappear
• repeat forever until you make a github issue

if i may ask, why was support for .3ds files (detecting the extension) removed? it's so simple, but why did it have to be so?
It's the only format i've ever known (the name is easy to remember) and ever dumped intentionally
It was a file extension introduced by Gateway (the company that sells 3DS flashcarts used for piracy), and is not the true extension of the format. The correct extension is .cci, and we want to distance ourselves from piracy as much as possible, hence the change.
Is there an existing issue for this?
