There is a disparity in the appearance of the renders outputs displacement of mesh object when placed over another object when using MASH. This renders fine with Deadline 10 farm for a customer. Here is an output:
Deadline Cloud output:
Deadline10 output:
The Deadline10 output is correct as expected from the scene but Deadline Cloud randomly placed the sphere mesh object on the cone.
Expected Behaviour
The render should place the mesh object on the other object appropriately with Deadline Cloud adaptor.
Current Behaviour
The Mesh objects are displaced on the render output specifically placed on the other object.
Reproduction Steps
Create a sample scene with Mesh objects on a cone object in Maya.
Place the Mesh objects on the cone.
Submit to Deadline Cloud and the mesh object will be displaced on the output compared to the scene placement.
Environment
At minimum:
Operating system (e.g. Windows Server 2022; Amazon Linux 2023; etc.): Windows & Linux
Version of Maya- 2024
Version of this package- 0.15.1
If this is from a version installed by the Deadline Cloud Submitter installer, then what version of the submitter installer? DeadlineCloudSubmitter-2025.02.06.0-windows-x64-installer.exe
