Is there something that will load a markdown file and show it nicely in the template?

Also I realised that in production, do we need something that 'installs' the changelog file into static? Something to get the text such that the webserver can see it.

I'm going to close this issue as I think it's superseded by #424. I think the change log has it's correct home on GitHub, and if at least the version information was shown on the website, it could form a link to the change log.
