The gfm plugin fails to handle the authors: and author: metadata attributes.
They both cause the following error to be displayed:

WARNING: Caught exception:
| "'str' object has no attribute 'slug'".

If --debug is enabled, the message is:

CRITICAL: AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'slug'

The Modified attribute causes page creation to fail with an error:
'str' object has no attribute 'tzinfo'
