GeoArrow and GeoParquet

It's great that there is official Arrow support in Go.

Are there any plans to support GeoArrow and GeoParquet? Are there any blockers to this?

I definitely plan on adding support for them, though given that they are community extensions (not canonical) I'm not sure whether it makes more sense for them to be in another repo or as part of this project.

That also said, now that Parquet has officially added Geo types to the spec, I might focus on adding those first rather than GeoParquet directly. Unfortunately I can't provide any timeline on these, but if you're willing to contribute I'll happily review PRs!
