I have created a PPA for this project, and I am currently building for the last three Ubuntu LTS releases, Focal, Jammy and Noble.

https://launchpad.net/~gheja/+archive/ubuntu/untrunc-anthwlock

Setting up the PPA and installing untrunc:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gheja/untrunc-anthwlock
sudo apt update

sudo apt install untrunc-anthwlock

Please check it out and give me any feedback you have.

I think so, but I am currently working on the Debian packages, I think the first ones should be ready today.

UPDATE: This comment is irrelevant now, see the next one.

I could not get Launcpad to accept my Debian source package (because it is not related to an Ubuntu release and it won't build it) and also the dependencies do not match between Ubutnu and Debian versions. So I decided to make a temporary repository here and host the files there (all the sources, debian configs, builds, build logs and everything that would be on Launchpad), until I get a more permanent solution.

I have signed everything with the same GPG key I am using on my Launchpad PPAs, see the readme of the repository for more details.

This is a temporary solution, just to validate/test the deb packages, I will move to a proper apt repository when I work out the details.

I have created an apt repository for Debian, following the Launchpad PPA naming schemes. On my test systems it works fine, please give it a try and share your feedback.

For the first time install you will need to add my GPG key as usual:

sudo wget -P /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/ https://ppa.stdio.hu/gheja/untrunc-anthwlock/debian/9D52FD7E8DA2EF76BFBADF912AD85D221BBA9B9C.asc

For Bullseye:

echo "deb https://ppa.stdio.hu/gheja/untrunc-anthwlock/debian bullseye main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/untrunc-anthwlock.list
sudo apt update

sudo apt install untrunc-anthwlock

For Bookworm:

echo "deb https://ppa.stdio.hu/gheja/untrunc-anthwlock/debian bookworm main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/untrunc-anthwlock.list
sudo apt update

sudo apt install untrunc-anthwlock
