kcurl needs to gracefully handle errors

• Did the pod fail to deploy?
  • kubectl stderr gets swallowed by /dev/null now
• Did jq fail?
  • This shows up, but it just continues trying to parse

This might indicate that a bash/shell script is not the way to go here. This might make this a good first candidate to rewrite in another language / deploy as a binary (maybe Golang?)
