iTerm and Emacs Colors not Matching Up #215

The colors in iTerm and Emacs are not matching up for me. Below is a screenshot showing the difference in the background colors. Is this normal? I note that playing with the Apple DigitalColor Meter shows both of them giving values different from the hex values listed in the documentation. The Emacs one is much closer (and is spot on when the meter is set to sRGB).

It doesn't seem that different when looking at that little screenshot, but when working with a full iTerm visor and a full Emacs window the difference is pretty glaring. iTerm has a much bluer feel and Emacs has a greener feel. iTerm also feels darker.

I also second this issue... Seems to also happen for newer emacs-solarized packages.
