It would be useful if supported permissions had a description and/or a URL to documentation field (preferably both), so that when updating someone's permissions in an app you could see what those permissions actually do. For instance, the GDS Editor permission in many apps is used to give super-admin-style access to the app, but what that actually means in practise is vague.

Adding a documentation URL link might also help people keep supported permissions up to date, as it would nudge them towards documenting and auditing permissions in apps.
