The following is not working (maybe I missed something ?):
<call>someObjectMacro "argumentwith\nnewline"</call>

returns :

<call>someObjectMacro {__call_arg__}argumentwith
newline{/__call_arg__}</call>

Thanks for the reactivity.

However, your fix causes "string1\nstring1" to be troncated to "string1"
