We are locked to [email protected] because that version supports rejectUnauthorized=false.
See issue that was closed: TooTallNate/proxy-agents#89

Explore also https://www.npmjs.com/package/global-agent (supports proxy envs HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY, NO_PROXY, and rejectUnauthorized)
Or https://www.npmjs.com/package/proxy-from-env (which is not an agent though)
