ZMNinja pro gets stuck with grey empty screen before even getting to setup step

The version and OS of ZoneMinder:
Zoneminder version is 1.30.0 Ubuntu 16
Device details:
Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, fresh factory reset, with current updates
What is the nature of your issue
After installing current ZMNinja pro from Google Play on the phone, it gets stuck with grey empty screen before even getting to setup step.

have the same problem on android 6.0.1 with this commit.
had to revert this commit in order to make it work.

The commit you are referencing resolves the issue reported by the original poster. Are you saying replacing startsWith with indexOf is causing issues on Android 6? I am running 6 on an emulator and don't see an issue.
