Hello!

Congratulations on this great piece of software. It's what makes Zoneminder useful. Here's some idea for further enhancement:

I have an Android tablet and an iPad 3 mounted to the walls in two rooms of our house, which I use a bit for music playing, my smart home app but primarily for zmNinja to see who's at the door. If zmNinja could, e.g., wake the screen only on events and keep it shut off as long as there is no event, this would be very much helping on energy saving. Also it would be great to have a "default" camera, so every time I open the app it shows the picture of that cam in full screen.

I'm sure there's much more one could think of when you have a wall-mounted tablet, but these little things are currently what's on my mind. Of course an integration with Siri / Google Now would also be nice, so it listens to spoken commands (like: "Siri - show me the door camera").

Keep this great work going!

Hi @antares2001 there are many thoughts about your points - are you using zmeventserver? That has the ability to wake up on push notifications, but not the way you are thinking.

If you visit the zoneminder IRC channel (#zoneminder on freenode.irc.net) lets chat about this - I am not sure what you want is possible without a lot of changes (and that too, may not do what you want).
