Have you tested the performance with 2.1 SAM checkpoints?

If not do you plan to release a training compatible code to eventually start from 2.1?

hi, we did not train our model on SAM2.1. It looks like SAM2.1 and SAM2 have the same structure, so SAM2-based training code should be fully compatible with SAM2.1.

hi, I appreciate your interest in the training code. It's indeed on our to-do list, but as the work was done during my internship, the code ownership is with the company. There might be restrictions on releasing it. I'll let you know if that changes.
