Firstly thank you for this excellent integration. Like many with an EV and house battery I had the issue of battery discharging into the car when I needed an EV charge. Typically such EV charging is by night and makes use of reduced cost electricity. It's possible to overcome this problem by using a SolarEdge Time of Use profile (if you have permissions) by setting the battery to charge off solar and grid.
This solution is not particularly elegant though because you may not need a battery charge, and may not charge the car every night. However, by using this integration I've been able to implement a far more elegant solution by setting a low value for the "Storage Discharge Limit" - a limit that allows normal baseline home electricity need overnight but that will not allow the battery to be discharged into the car. All you need to do is create time based automations and not forget to set the value back to 5000w (it shows 5400 by default but you can only set a max of 5000).
It's a simple solution but one that SolarEdge do not provide an ability to set even using their Time of Use profiles. I have suggested something like this be incorporated into the SolarEdge app being actively (re)developed now.
This may be nothing new for most here but I am posting just in case it helps others.
