The current implementation of BlockTypeSelect has an array of hard-coded English strings that are used to display the type of a given block:
const KINDS = ['In Class', 'Assignment', 'Milestone', 'Custom', 'Handouts', 'Resources'];
It should be updated to use i18n so that we can show translated type names for blocks.
