Profiles disappears when changing materials #14925
Comments
Hey @adetogni, Welcome to the Ultimaker Cura Github 🚀 Do I understand correct that you want to save the settings that you changed here? Those settings are usually not saved in a material. That's how a lot of other people do it. To me, it doesn't seem like a bug in Ultimaker Cura, since we have a solution in place. |
hi @MariMakes , no that's not the issue. I'm not saving the profile. Profiles are already there and I do easily switch whenever I needed, esp. the custom ones I created. |
look at min 1:42 you'll see "not supported" in profiles, whereas a second before you can see "Super Quality New" |
Hey @adetogni, I apologize I must have misunderstood your report. This has been a known issue for a while most interactions around it can be found here #8229 You can read more about it in the linked ticket but it's actually intended. But the behavior has been so confusing that we have a ticket on our backlog with the intent to improve this. I'll be closing this issue as a duplicate but you can follow the progress here: #8229 |
thanks for the feedback, That ticket has A LOT of interactions, so yes, it's super misleading since it's not mentioned anywhere that it should be TPU95A and you're also getting an error. I'll track that one |
