How can you control width of table headers (TH elements)

I tried passing a custom <th> component in the Header column option, but that gets nested within a th which authors apparently cannot access.

There are also width, minWidth, and maxWidth options but they are all for "when using non-table-element layouts" ...which I can confirm after trying =)

...so is there any way to affect the width of of table TH elements?
