We could use the code in https://github.com/SpiNNakerManchester/SpiNNFrontEndCommon/blob/master/spinn_front_end_common/interface/interface_functions/machine_generator.py

to convert a str to a BMPConnectionData

But is it worth it? Or just strip that option out
