"No parent found" text appears in the topmost index note.

My 00_Home note is listed as an index note, as such, it has no parent.
However, the warning (which I've changed to "No Parent found") does appear, which sounds like a bug, Index notes, by definition, have not parent.

Maybe instead have a configurable alternate text: "Index Note" to remind me that i've reached the top of the line
