RSync Works Slowly/Throttles

Hi,

On two of my machines - all three Lenovo with more or less the same software - RSync (as well as GRSync) freezes at times while synchronizing between an external and their own hard disks. These freezes occur with random files, not necessarily big ones.

Could this be a known issue? It seems that the bandwidth of my system is not enough for such a powerful process and it throttles at times - but this is merely my version.

I use Lenovo Thinkpads, with Solus Linux. All software is up to date.
