Room一間文創展出。除受邀藝術家外，國立臺南藝術大學應用藝術所陶瓷組的研究生皆展出自己的陶藝創作，其中包含具實用性的陶瓷器皿以及非實用目的藝術創作，探索陶藝媒材的可能性。</p>

南藝大應藝所陶瓷組研究生趙宥筑展出系列作《生之紀念》，趙宥筑長期創作陶藝品，產出作品的同時也在思考「土」的意義為何，形成此系列作品的發想。「外面那種富有生機的土，是植物可以生長的土。」趙宥筑認為土有很大的生命力，陶藝雖以土為材料，陶土卻因黏度太高而無法讓植物生長其中。因此，趙宥筑希望藉此系列創作把土壤的生命力帶回陶藝。

《生之紀念》系列中的〈覆〉原先是倒錐形的土堆，由趙宥筑以陶藝用土及富含有機質的培養土混合製成，並在表面種入菜苗，像是剛從土地中挖起的土塊。經過高溫窯燒，觀眾在展覽現場已看不見植物，而培養土的加入也導致結構不穩定，燒製後土堆坍成不規則的形狀。趙宥筑於表面崩裂處使用類似金繼手法，賦予其重生的意象。他認為，即便事物不再是完整形狀，甚至破損、衰頹，也有屬於該物件的美。「燒成對我來說是記錄下土的某一個狀態，讓他凝結的一個手法。」他說。

南藝大應藝所陶瓷組研究生詹宗哲的〈與時間的關係〉，試圖表現主觀感知到的時間流逝，而非時鐘、月曆等提供的客觀時間。他提取兒時生長環境中的素材製作〈與時間的關係〉，將花蓮溪流中的砂石一層一層與瓷漿一同灌入模具，堆疊成柱狀造型。詹宗哲解釋，花蓮的礦土含有石灰石，陶瓷結構之間含有鈣會導致陶瓷在燒製時慢慢崩解成碎片。也因溪流上、下游的砂石成分不同，成品的崩解速度、方式無法預先計畫。

「比如我小時候生長的環境，跟去年回去看到的不一樣，這個對立，就是時間的狀態。」詹宗哲說明，〈與時間的關係〉並不光滑也不漂亮，跟一般陶瓷作品比起來只是粗糙的石塊，但他希望觀者從逐步崩解的碎片中，能單就眼前感受到的事物差異，感受時間的流動。「時間是一直在變化的，就像滄海桑田的感覺，我想把他強化到最極致的狀態。」他說。

南藝大應藝所教授張清淵說明，不同陶瓷材料會形成其特有的質感和顏色，「從藝術的本質去思考，這個材料有什麼樣的面貌，剛好是可以表達適當的藝術語彙或觀念？」他認為，藝術家可以跳脫傳統陶瓷工藝對於美的想像，找到方式詮釋其與生俱來的獨特美感，讓觀眾認識這項材料被使用的多元可能性，是不錯的結果。
