Unable to destroy a tree with hand

Describe the bug

When trying to break a log from a tree with the hand, it says 'Your tool is about to break, go repair it or get a new one', ignoring the fact that I have 'Ignore tool' enabled.
the only way for me to break a tree is to break a log with a tool that has durability (sword, axe, shovel...etc. even a CHESTPLATE!).

Indeed all the items with no durability doesn't work. (the hand is counted as air item and has no durability)
