dnsdist - more easily parseable outputs from show...() console functions?

The showSomething() functions in console are nice; but they are quite hard to parse.

I would love it if they were more easily parseable (YAML/JSON/CSV/something), so the output can be used in scripts etc. better.

But I am not sure if that is the intention behind these functions in the first place.

The idea makes a lot of sense to me! Since all these commands are based on the content of the in-memory ring buffers, which you can dump/filter on with grepq(""), I think it might make sense to implement a JSON output to grepq() itself.

OK, good to hear. I was not sure if the intention is not just to have them as "debug", and not intended for parsing with external scripts.

Also happy to hear it might not be that hard to implement? I am not sure what is grepq, I will look in the source code
