I would like to ask you one very specific question regarding the subsetting and manipulation of the @DaTa slot regarding MAF objects; based on some public genomic datasets, I utilized and processed some mutational data based on the reference genome hg19. Afterwards, through some additional variant annotation, these were uplifted on the hg38. On my last step, I would like to subset my initial maf object, into the updated coordinates of these mutations-instead of just subsetting based on these selected genes-; Thus, there is any way to directly replace the @data slot maf? instead of using the subsetMaf function, as there are various columns I would like to query and match?

Dear @PoisonAlien ,
I would like to ask you one very specific question regarding the subsetting and manipulation of the @DaTa slot regarding MAF objects; based on some public genomic datasets, I utilized and processed some mutational data based on the reference genome hg19. Afterwards, through some additional variant annotation, these were uplifted on the hg38. On my last step, I would like to subset my initial maf object, into the updated coordinates of these mutations-instead of just subsetting based on these selected genes-; Thus, there is any way to directly replace the
@data
slot maf? instead of using thesubsetMaf
function, as there are various columns I would like to query and match?Thank you in advance,
Efstathios
