Path of Building isnt Working , its Crashing.

Hello , im running the latest windows 10 updated no anti virus in background etc.

rx 6700 xt graphics card and ryzen 5900x processor.

I cant get the newer Versions of PoB to work.

Either in the Startup process the application crashes.

This isn't an issue with Path of Building, your operating system is broken. ntdll.dll is missing and PoB relies on it. This is a well known issue and there is plenty of information online on how to solve it.

Not sure what that means, there is no 1.8.x release of Path of Building.

Sorry but your answer sounds a bit arrogant ( no offense ) and thread seems closed to early for me, id like to show you some more info, this crash seems to happen when the program tries to update itself.

I not only receive the ntdll.dll errors but a Memory Crash Message sometimes. Im trying to get a screenshot asap

I was ablee to use PathOfBuildingCommunity-Portable-2.1.0 wich updated itself to 2.3.0 for like 1 hour, created a build etc.

I closed the application now it wont start again with the same ERROR message in Event viewer...

and i wont be able to open it again, its starting to close as soon as its checking for update or something.

Did you update your graphics card drivers recently?
Is your card set to compute mode?

Hi Pjacek , no there is no Compute Mode enabled.

Graphics Driver are always the latest installed.

I was thinking this issue is caused because rx 6700 xt isnt supported by the program, is this possible?

Sometimes when i open the Programm it immediatly throws an Error Message with a Memory Error cant write/ read file on memory adress XY....

But i cant seem to reproduce this issues, it seems a bit random

Can you try extracting to and running from a location that's not in your downloads folder? Specifically, one which does not contain your username, and only english characters. For example, create a folder C:\PathOfBuilding and extract it there, then run from there.

This is a freshly extracted PathOfBuildingCommunity-Portable-2.1.0

If this matters in any case, i have Resizeable Bar enabled. And the Graphics Card has 12 GB RAM.

I can run any Bench u want to mention my System is rock Stable btw...

One more thign for Pjacek to mention , the programm hasnt worked on a previous Graphics Driver too ( Version before
AMD RADEON SOFTWARE 21.4.1 )

Managed to fix the issue for me by disabling Compute Mode on my AMD drivers.
