Default shipping location to US

Can the default location for shipping on checkout correlate to the store currency or user location?

We could use the Geolocation API for the user's location, granted we would need permission from the user, and fallback to using currency to guess the country. I personally don't like popups from websites asking for my location but if we decide to go through with it I could write a PR for this.
