Sometimes I'm working in do-not-disturb mode. It would be nice to see a number or something in the Mac top bar icon for if i have unread messages.

a number or something in the Mac top bar icon for if i have unread messages.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I could turn off DND but often i'm presenting my screen and normally don't want messages to pop up.
