This is useful for dose and flux actors that require volume and area calculations.

thanks Alex, useful ;) ! However, hopefully, G4 already implemented it:
https://github.com/Geant4/geant4/blob/master/source/geometry/solids/specific/include/G4Ellipsoid.hh
So we should only have to wrap the G4 shape ... and write doc
