In the Dashboard settings I have a Dashboard wide graph tooltip option shared crosshair. This option will show a line over all graphs when you hover over any graph.

This option should be the default in a future release.

hi @ReneMeier what version of Harvest and Grafana are you using? If you press ? in Grafana it will show you the keyboard shortcuts and there it mentions pressing mod+o to Toggle shared graph crosshair. Does that shortcut work for you?

It does not work for me because, I think, there is a Grafana bug that prevents shared crosshairs when using the Timeseries panel. Shared crossharis do work for the Graph (old) panel.

hi @ReneMeier, I believe you are asking for us to change the default for all out-of-the-box Harvest dashboards, while my response above, was about the fact that after I change the dashboard settings, it does not work. 😄 We'll evaluate making that change and whether the performance impact is worth the change.

When I searched for issues in Grafana's repo, there are 12 open issues.

This one looks relevant:

The above workaround worked in version 8.1.2. I changed the Dashboard setting to Shared crosshair, saved the dashboard after making the change, refreshed the page, then crosshairs worked correctly on all Timeseries panels.
