Merge pull request #538 from Hallberg-NOAA/dev/gfdl

Renamed variables "mod" to "mdl"

Passed: https://gitlab.gfdl.noaa.gov/ogrp/MOM6/pipelines/2054

(Initial fail seems to have been a stale file issue).
