Description

need to update FV3 "the dycore" to the latest version available via NOAA-GFDL/GFDL_atmos_cubed_sphere/pull/128

  2. Have you run regression test in ufs-weather-model or ufs-s2s-model with code changes? yes
  • Will the baseline results change? yes
  • If yes, please give brief explanation of your code updates on the regression test.
    The change to how the VMR and MMR tracers are handled for ICs created by chgres from different sources
    Bug fixes to regional boundary condition handling (surface pressure and wrong array extents for a staggered grid variable)
