WW3 (v6.07.1) Simulation Error – INA2R: ERROR IN READING FROM FILE

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to run a WAVEWATCH III (WW3) v6.07.1 simulation, but I keep encountering the following error when executing ww3_grid:

  Equivalent namelists finished.

  The spatial grid:

This simulation was provided by a colleague, and it runs fine on her machine. However, I can't seem to get past this issue on my setup.

I have installed the following dependencies:

• curl (7.64.0)
• zlib (1.2.11)
• HDF5 (1.10.5)
• netCDF-C (4.9.2)
• netCDF-Fortran (4.6.1)

I'm using GCC and GFortran, and below are my nc-config and nf-config outputs:

Hi,

You cannot run ww3_grid with netcdf input files, you need to create a grid using gridgen to obtain ascii files with WW3 format.
