The Aerie UI does not indicate when data is still being loaded (or a request to the backend is still pending). I notice this mostly in the view list, but the comment applies to other parts of the UI too. When there are many views, it can take 5+ seconds for the list to populate. During that time the UI says "no data", rather than indicating that the data is still loading.

Describe the feature request

I want the UI to indicate when data is still loading (or a request is still running). If the request fails then I want the UI to indicate that is has failed.
