Description

The ThingsCon community fosters the creation of a human-centric and responsible Internet of Things (IoT). We want to support consumer rights organizations like EFF and Consumer Reports in this area. Help us draft materials that can help these organizations navigate the challenges surrounding IoT.

Agenda
After a quick intro to the state of affairs in consumer rights and IoT, we'll have a group discussion of the major pitfalls and opportunities for consumer rights groups in that area.

Participants
Consumer rights activists, IoT people, technologists, activists.

Outcome
We hope to get a better understanding how the ThingsCon network can be more helpful for consumer rights organizations by providing background material and other input.
