What happened?

We are testing the new beta runtime and are experiencing strange artifacts in our logo in a PDF file, please see the attached PDF for the issue. It reproduces on the beta runtime, it does not reproduce on the stable runtime or when opening it in Firefox for example.

could you share also the original how it should look?

Screenshots are probably better in hindsight, also we're using the PDF.js viewer to show the PDF. Please ignore the difference in width.
The artifacts, which are visible at the bottom part of the image, seem to behave differently on different zoom levels.

Screenshot of the issue (confirmed on Runtime 122.0.2365.16 beta):
4360 incorrect

Screenshot of how it should look (confirmed on Runtime 121.0.2277.106):
4360 correct

Hi @fvanheeswijk - I see that it does not repro in Edge, just wanted to double check that you have tested it on the same beta 122.0.2365.16 as wv2?

Hmm, the issue seems to have fixed itself now we're on 122.0.2365.30 beta. Strange, but not unwelcome.

I don't get a repro in 122.0.2365.30. Also, I was not able to see the issue with 122.0.2365.16. I tested it by opening the pdf directly on a WebView2 app.

@fvanheeswijk To better understand the issue, can you help to answer those questions?

It reproduces on the beta runtime,

Did you repro that issue on the Edge browser(beta 122.0.2365.16) as well? Or you only tried WebView2 and other browsers.

we're using the PDF.js viewer to show the PDF

Are you installed specific browser extension?
Thx!

@JosephJin0815 It didn't reproduce with the Edge Beta browser, so maybe the PDF.js component was also into play here, but we just load it in an iframe, not via a browser extension.
