- Figma - Recommended Design Tool, Do You Know You Can Create Print-Documents (e.g. Invoices) with it?
- Draw.io - Diagramming Tool (There is an online version as well)
- Freeplane - Creates Ugly, but compact Mindmaps locally. If you need to share your Mindmaps, I recommend mindmeister (no local app yet)
- Notion - Recommended App for Notetaking and Writing
- VSCode - Recommended Code Editor
- Postman - API testing tool
- Chrome - Default Browser for Development (because it has biggest market share)
- Safari - Quite Good Option for Energy Efficient Option for Web Browsing
- Firefox - Only for Testing (but with nostalgic feelings)
- Edge - Finally no Virtual Maschines for IE Testing Anymore
- Opera - Optional for Testing, but still some significant market share
- pgAdmin - PostgreSQL Management Interface
- SourceTree - Preferred Git GUI
- Spark - Recommended Mail App. The only thing I miss is a client-side Spam Filter
- ToDo - Unfortunately Wunderlist Dissolved into Microsoft
- Office 2019 - mostly for Excel and Powerpoint, a legal Lifetime-License From Ebay is a better Option than Office 365
- Teams - Preferred Video Conference Software (Caution: If any problem check if you updated to the latest version)
- Slack - Most Used Direct Messaging App
- Toggl - I often miss to start Tracking and/or forgot what I worked on, but Toggl tracks granularly my activities.
- Brave - Recommended for Default Web Browsing, same features as Chrome, but without the Privacy Concerns and embedded Ad Blocker
- Cryptomator - Additional Data Protection Layer by Encrpyting your Cloud Storage
- Dropbox - My cloud storage, because it never failed me (I'll probably use iCloud if I am not on Android anymore).
- KeePassXC - Open Source Password Manager without Data Sharing (I recommend Bitwarden if you need to Share Passwords Granularly)
- CopyClip - Clipboard History Tool
- Spotify - Music
Hint: Disable extensions if not needed, because they could track your web browsing quite extensively
- Allow CORS: Access-Control-Allow-Origin - In Some Development Scenarios it can be Useful to Suppress CORS Errors
