Make launcher able to install as a stub for Steam like with the old launcher #12

With the old launcher you could make the launcher open instead of the game when you launched it on Steam.
This would let Steam track playtime for RCT2 even while you're in OpenRCT2.

This is actually sort-of planned. I'm currently working out a solution to allow Trigger's Stub to work correctly with this version of the launcher. I don't want to make the stub an automatic thing with the launcher for multiple reasons, but I do understand the need for the stub.

You could make it an option whether to use the stub or not.

@Margen67 @mrtnptrs You do know that bumping doesn't really work on Github, right? 😜

Development has slowed down on the launcher as a whole for a while because of personal reasons. I plan on pushing an update very soon (it's primarily waiting on Homebrew/homebrew-core#2087 ), which will include a workaround for getting trigger_death's stub working. After that, I will look into getting the launcher itself to work as a stub, but that will require a lot of code I haven't implemented yet.
