Ubuntu-Macro-Keyboard-DIY

This repository holds all the coding to achieve the goal of making any keyboard like a macro-keyboard.

Sample Usage

To use the script, please follow the steps below:

Clone the repository as follows:

git clone https://github.com/Johnnyreyman/Ubuntu-Macro-Keyboard-DIY.git

Depending on where you cloned the repository, change directory as follows:

cd Ubuntu-Macro-Keyboard-DIY/

There are two scripts that are intended to provide either a command line or GUI based configuration, to use the command line only option, cd into scripts and make all scripts executable.

cd scripts

sudo chmod +x .*.sh

Run the command line based script and follow the instructions on the screen:


bash macro_keyboard_cli.sh
