A way to remove abilities only

Hello,
Is there a way to remove ability only from item? In my case, Hover ability from Chestplate. It is just annoying. I've upgraded several Epic Dragon Chestplates and all of them got Hover which is really annoying , especially late game when you already have flight.

So my question is: Is there currently a way to remove specific ability from armor?
If not, is it possible to make it so we remove specific ability in the future?

In my case Hover, is way to common and way to annoying...

Please? Pretty please?
