As a user on HIFI I would like my ZF system, ZFHIFI, to be faster.

As an instrument scientist on HIFI I additionally think:

There’s noise in the system which could perhaps be averaged a bit rather than sampling an instantaneous field and using it for adjustment. A faster update plus feedback gain <1 might help here.

(could be done by adding compress records in averaging mode, in either in ZFHIFI or g3hallprobe layer)
