Favorite Books and Chapters

Overview

This web application allows users to save chapters from their favorite books and access them anytime. It features a user-friendly interface to view and search books and chapters and provides a fast, free API for developers to retrieve book and chapter information.

Technologies Used

  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

API Endpoints

  • POST /api/save-to-pastebin: Save chapters.
  • GET /api/chapters: Retrieve all chapters.
  • GET /api/search?query={title}: Search for books by title.

Hosting

The project can be hosted on platforms like:

  • Frontend: Netlify or Vercel
  • Backend: Heroku, DigitalOcean, or AWS
  • SQLite database can be hosted locally or migrated to a managed database.

Setup

  1. Clone the repository: 
    git clone https://github.com/your-repo-name.git
  2. Install dependencies: 
    npm install
  3. Start the server: 
    npm start
  4. Open the frontend in a browser or deploy to a hosting platform.
